Plus, neighborhood entails for a nice walk.

I've had the pleasure of getting my haircut at B&C for a little less than a year. I found it out of luck, among my evolving quest for a quality yet affordable haircut in DC (80-100 haircuts were getting out of hand for me). It's such a great price for DC at just 28 for a cut (plus a good tip of course!) - with even better people. Loan is the best - not only a great barber, but an even funnier person and just positive gem of a human. Love that you can also call for appointments in advance. Go team B&C!

Rut is a magician. I showed her a picture of what I was going for, and like Michelangelo's David she brought the best out of what I thought was mere hair. Worth every penny. Definitely coming here for my cuts!

Had a fantastic experience with this hairdresser! Not only did I not have to wait long (walk-in), but their warm and friendly demeanor made the entire appointment delightful. Loan really knows her way around the scissors and it was great talking to her. The hot towel at the end adds an extra touch to the salon experience. Would definitely recommend especially given the moderate price (27 for a regular cut).

Great neighborhood barber shop! The staff are all super friendly and they almost always have a short wait for walk-ins or quick call aheads. Definitely come with a photo or good explanation of what you want, and if you do they can make it a reality. They also do kids cuts and are super patient and kind with kids. Another highlight -- the prices are super reasonable for a haircut in DC!
